Reign

Senior Dog

Who would have thought this old lady would rule over a pack of 10+ dogs? The other residents are literally afraid of her!

At the PAWS shelter, she was never a candidate for adoption. She didn’t really try to be picked 🙁 Instead, she would lay around and growl at any dog that got near her, or bite anyone who touched her the wrong way.

We couldn’t really blame her as she was severely overweight and her arthritic legs always gave her grief. Who knew that all she needed was a field of green grass to get her on her feet and running again? While she’s still grumpy and arthritic, she’s now at a healthier weight and getting joint supplements and lots of pets.

Become Reign's BFF

An old lady like Reign needs joint supplements to help strengthen her weak, aching joints. After exercising, we make sure to give her her favorite treat — a bowl of Cosi milk (always in moderation of course!) We try to keep these things in constant supply to keep her happy. Would you like to be her BFF?

Reign's Wishlist

  • Wet dog food
  • Joint supplements
  • Doggie treats
  • Cosi Milk
  • Back harness (sling type large)
  • Elevated food/water bowl

When you become Reign's BFF, you will receive monthly newsletters with updates on her well-being. You may also request for a 5-minute Zoom call so you can see how she's doing.

Rescue Story

Reign was emaciated when found scavenging for food under a bridge in Pasig. Thankfully, someone took pity or she wouldn’t have survived long in her condition!
