Advocating for a Lifetime Commitment to Responsible Pet Care

Senior and special needs animals are often unwanted—the least adoptable in shelters, or considered a burden by their own hoomans.

Find out why they actually make the BEST pets.

Helping senior and special needs animals retire with love and dignity

While animal welfare organizations and shelters are doing their very best, the reality is that not every rescued animal is rehomed or adopted. That’s why in 2016, our co-founders first opened up their home to foster senior and special needs shelter animals from The Philippine Animal Welfare Society, where they still serve as active volunteers.

In 2021, BFFS became the Philippines’ first registered retirement home for shelter animals. Now, we are working to educate people on responsible pet care so that senior and special needs animals can age with dignity and retire in loving homes.
