Special Needs Cat
Parker was admitted to the sanctuary under special circumstances. While all of our other residents were adopted from PAWS, this handsome boi was adopted from Cats of Eton Centris. We stumbled upon his photo and the story of how he lost the use of his hind legs. The thing is, we had a cat named Jazer who looked exactly like him and had the same physical limitations.
Were we being sentimental when we decided to adopt him? Well, yes! We just couldn’t help it. We also knew that cats like him have very little chances of getting adopted because they need special care. Today, he is one of the most affectionate cats at the sanctuary and will stop at nothing to get your attention!

Parker’s hind legs are completely paralyzed so he drags them to get around. As such, he is prone to urinary issues, parasites, and infections, so we try to counter that by making sure he is clean and keeping him on a low-sodium diet. Can you help us maintain a healthy diet for Parker?
When you become Parker's BFF, you will receive monthly newsletters with updates on his well-being. You may also request for a 5-minute Zoom call so you can see how he's doing.
Parker was just chillin’ at the Eton Centris parking lot when he was hit by a car. It was sheer luck that only his hind legs were damaged, and that the volunteers looking after the community cats were quick to respond. He was immediately brought to the vet and the community came together to raise funds for his treatment.
