Bellatrix is a resident of Best Friends Furever Sanctuary in Magalang, Pampanga. It is a furever home for senior and special needs animals.
Bellatrix was rescued with her newborn puppies on New Year’s Eve, after cruel humans threw firecrackers on them. At least one of her puppies died from injuries, while Bellatrix and her surviving puppies were traumatized for a long time.
Her puppies were eventually socialized and adopted by loving families, but Bellatrix never recovered. Years have gone by and she is still a very nervous and fearful dog who needs to be handled gently. This has kept her from being adopted from the shelter.
But now she’s home. She has found her furever family here at BFFS, and now she has found you! <3
